 This quote best explains my experience at cabrillo monument because some people may just see nature as plants and animals but i got much more of an experience out of it, i learned much about the area and what it was used for, like a cemetery for the military. I didnt just see nature i saw the many years of work it took to create the cabrillo monument. -Maddie Polzin |
I chose this quote because i thought nature was was going to be boring because it was just all about plants. Nature is about everything around us. Not just plants and animals. Niualama Leasau I picked this quote because it describes my trip to the Cabrillo National Monument. I was just expecting to see the lighthouse, which made me think about how tough and boring it must have been living in a lighthouse; being the only person/family living there, and not having alot of space. I also only expected to see the Cabrillo Monument which made me realize how important Cabrillo must have been since they made a monument of him. But instead i also got to see the cemetery; hundreds of yards of tombstones and a big wall with the names of the soldiers that were lost at war, which made me realize how terrible war actually is. And I got to see the museems that gave me knowledge about the Cabrillo National Monument. /Joel T |
